Environmental policy

Waldevar continually measure and improve environmental performance and promise to seek ways to reduce energy, limit fuel consumption, lessen emissions, prevent pollution and reduce potable water consumption.

Our company comply with environmental legislation and other requirements and understands the importance of environmental issues. We continually seek to improve environmental performance, raise awareness, encourage participation and train employees in environmental matters. All employees participate to internal trainings and classes about how to take care of the environment, how to spend less water and limit fuel consumption at work.

Also, Waldevar expects similar environmental standards from all suppliers and contractors and we assist customers to use products and services in an environmentally sensitive way and liaise with the local community.

Business conduct code

Waldevar 4 codes of ethics are: integrity, safety, professional competence and behaviour, confidentiality. Also all employees should be considerate and respectful, should comply with laws, maintain a professional work environment and comply with company policies. They should treat customers, colleagues, and partners ethically at all times.

Ethics

1.6 All employees participate to internal trainings and classes about internal rules and communications. During these classes, all employees are informed about conflicts of interests, all types of fraud, sanctions and anticompetitive practices. Trainings take part yearly and are mandatory.

It is essential that they avoid relationships and activities that hurt, or appears to hurt, their ability to make objective and fair decisions. Employees should always act to protect company assets, including physical, intellectual, and electronic or digital properties.

Supplier management procedure

Waldevar follows the supplier management process flow and the 4 steps involved in a supplier management process flow: Qualification (evaluate suppliers and determine if they are capable enough to provide the necessary goods or services to the standards set). Classification (segmenting suppliers into specific supplier quadrants based on a predefined set of metrics like supply risk, total spend, TCO, quality, profitability, performance). Collaboration (businesses that collaborate deeply with suppliers grow two times faster than their peers who ignore supplier collaboration); Evaluation (measure a supplier’s performance and ensure they meet the preset contract terms).  Evaluation is performed based on a number of metrics like delivery time, price, production, quality, technical, and services.

Policy regarding subcontractors

Waldevar ensure all subcontractors are legally, financially and fit for purpose to deliver the roles required of them.
